At Escuela Caracol Indigenous Maya families make up 90% of student population, whose tuition are mostly cover by the school donations. Our shared language is Spanish, we have Kaqchikel and English classes, we are guided by the Waldorf pedagogy and the Mayan Cosmovision, it is a clear example of living pedagogy.
Our students come from the Lake Atitlán region and receive a snack every day. The education we provide has been made possible thanks to a diverse network of donors, YOU CAN BE PART OF IT by sponsoring one of our students (click here).
When you donate to Escuela Caracol you will be contributing to our food, music, watercolor, arts & crafts and garden programs, as well as promoting a culturally relevant curriculum that expands growth opportunities for our students.
